Centralna Spółdzielnia Komediowa would love to invite you to the improv workshop with ANTONIO VULPIO!A great teacher and improviser from Italy is coming soon to Warsaw!
Workshop will be held in Warsaw On Monday 14th of May.
3 hours: 18:00–21:00

ABOUT ANTONIO VULPIO
------------------------------------------------------
Antonio was drawn to improvisational theatre in 1996. An accomplished actor, Antonio has worked in TV, short films, commercials, cabaret shows and radio announcing. He honed his technique by studying with teachers who still profoundly inspire his work: RANDY DIXON and PATTI STILES, among others, and by performing over almost 20 years on numerous stages across Europe, the US, and Australia. In 2005 he helps create the “Orcas Island Project”, a small ensemble composed of improvisers from all over the world, directed by Randy Dixon, and with whom he continues to work and experiment in the field of improvised theatre. He also teaches improvisation looking at the physical performer.
Antonio is the artistic director of his company “Teatro a Molla” in Bologna with whom he created and played several shows.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Title: THE IMPROVISER’S BODY
Body language is powerful. Sometimes we underestimate it, giving more credit to words and narrative. Movements and expressions become less and less important for the narrative, to the point of being invisible to the actors. The audience eventually witnesses a strange detachement between words and actions...
The aim of this workshop is to bring back the machine-body at the center of our expressive and narrative potential. When the gestures are significant, the words becomes unnecessary.

PLEASE NOTE that workshop will be in held English, and that group will be small – only 12 people at the workshop – due to keep high quality and learn a lot.
